- After the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency (HERA) conducted a tender for the selection of suppliers in the public service obligation for the period from April 1, 2021 to September 30, 2024, City Gasworks Zagreb – Supply Ltd. (hereinafter: City Gasworks - Supplies), in addition to retain the existing distribution areas in Zagreb and Bjelovar, was determined by the HERA Decision as a public service provider in 11 new distribution areas (Rijeka, Samobor, Ivanec, Koprivnica, Sveta Nedjelja, Kutina, Garešnica, Vrbovec , Pitomača, Nova Gradiška, Križevci) which cover as many as 9 counties.
It is important to point out that this commendable result of the tender is due to the fact that by applying to the tender, City Gasworks - Supplies fulfill the main criteria for selecting the best offer - the criteria of the lowest offered cost of gas supply.
With the increase in the number of customers and the quantity of gas delivery in the new distribution areas, City Gasworks - Supplies has a good starting point:
More than 80 thousand users of the MY ACCOUNT application
- to increase its market share from the existing 45% to more than 60% share of gas supply in total household consumption in distribution areas,
- to position itself as a market leader in the retail natural gas market with approximately 350 thousand customers, and
- to increase the quantities of delivered gas by approximately 850 million kWh per year.
Beside to the main task of City Gasworks - Supplies, to ensure a reliable, safe and continuous supply of gas of appropriate quality to all its customers, the Management of City Gasworks - Supplies even in these difficult times of the COVID 19 disease epidemic strives to offer its customers, especially public service customers (households) benefits such as the ability to repay the overdue debt in installments. In addition to the above, City Gasworks – Supplies offers its customers the opportunity to communicate faster and more efficiently through digital services, which is especially important today when the epidemic of COVID 19 requires a reduction / restriction of physical contact and movement of citizens.
The “MOJ RAČUN”
(MY ACCOUNT) application is currently used by more than 80,000 customers. It enables free reporting of gas meter status, monitoring of regular gas consumption and financial obligations, and receipt of invoices for costs incurred via e-mail, which together contribute to preserving the environment and a brighter and greener future for future generations. Household gas consumption is monitored in a practical and simple way, which raises the level of awareness of our customers about energy efficiency, ie energy savings and consequently money.
