Sports and recreational facilities are provided within the Zagreb Holding by the branch Sports Facilities Management.
The branch consists of eight business units (former companies and institutions): Hipodrom Zagreb (Zagreb Hippodrome), Maksimir, Mladost, Šalata, Jarun, Sljeme, Športske dvorane Zagreb (Zagreb Sports Halls) and Dom Sportova (Home of Sport Arena)
1.The Hippodrome is open for visitors from 06:00 to 22:00 hours.
Services:
Riding school (TUES-SUN, from 08:00 to 20:00 hours); beginners and advanced classes, sporting and recreational riding, renting of horses for riders, accommodation of horses – accommodation, care and feeding of horses, use of training facilities etc.

Jarun i Bundek
The recreational facilities of
Jarun are numerous: kilometres of foot paths, 5,500 m of bike and roller blade tracks, exercise routes and recreational sports areas.
The area around the
Bundek Lake has been arranged as a recreational park with 10 sets of barbecue facilities (concrete bases for grills with benches and tables) available for public use. There is a path 1650 m long around the lakes for cycling and roller blading.

Maksimir
- The business unit Maksimir comprises a total of seven sporting and recreational centres: "Maksimir" Tennis centre, "Maksimirska naselja" Sports and Recreation Centre, "Remete" Sports and Recreation Centre, "Svetice" Sports and Recreation Centre, "Grana-Klaka" Sports and Recreation Centre, and the "Bukovačka" bowling alley and the Dubrava Gym are not currently open for use.

Mladost
The Business Unit Mladost manages the Mladost Sports Park, Utrine Swimming Pool and the Indoor Pool facilities.
"Mladost" Sports park
The Mladost Sports Park offers a home to about 20 sports clubs, tens of schools, faculties and kindergartens, and the following sports: tennis, swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, diving, athletics, grass hockey, volleyball, judo, table tennis, Thai boxing etc. Every year many competitions are held on a European, world, national and city level.

Utrina Swimming Pools
Alongside the large Olympic swimming pool (50m x 25m), the children’s pool for teaching non-swimmers (10m x 25m) and the diving pool (10m x 23m), Utrine swimming pools have a rich additional range of activities: a gym, an exercise hall and a wellness centre with a wide range of facilities. The pool also has catering facilities and a summer terrace.

Mladost Indoor (Winter) Pools
Mladost Indoor Pools comprise a large (25 x 16 m) and small (10 x 5m) pool, a gym, a small basketball court and a beach volleyball court.
Sljeme-Medvednica
Sljeme-Medvednica consists of the Sljeme Ski Slope and the Hotel Division.
The existing
Ski Slopesand ski lifts are located mainly on the north slopes of Medvednica. They have a total length of about 4,500 m and there are two drag lifts (the White and Green slopes) and a three-seater lift (Red slopes) with a total capacity of 3300 skiers an hour.

Hotel Division comprises the

Sportske dvorane Zagreb
The branch manages the following sports halls: Dom sportova halls, Trešnjevka, Peščenica, Trnsko, Dubrava and the Zagreb Fair Ice Rink.
Šalata
The ŠALATA Sports and Recreational Centre is in the very centre of Zagreb, almost right next to the Ban Jelačić Square. In terms of its location, accessibility and sporting and recreational content, it is one of the best sporting complexes in this part of Europe.
